Mary Ann Miro considers her art representational with an impressionistic style. “I am especially drawn to the vibrancy of light as it illuminates the subject. My goal is to capture the brilliance of light as it leads the viewer through a painting.”
Mary Ann has received awards from national juried shows and has exhibited her paintings nationwide in both solo and group exhibitions. She is a member of Oil Painters of America and American Impressionist Society. She studied at the Rocky Mountain School of Art and Design, Art Students League of Denver and Scottsdale Artist School with nationally renowned artists. She also completed Quang Ho’s Professional Studies class. Mary Ann has been teaching at an art school in Littleton, Colorado over the past ten years.
